Disappearing the homeless

Did you notice the things people were worried about?

• Lately they’re visible and are all over the place.
• They’re not hiding anymore.
• We have a serious concern (that they'll affect our business).
• Neighbors are concerned about car burglaries and loitering.
• The city said the encampment is now its top priority for a cleanup operation.

Not a word about why they are homeless, not a word about how to help them, not a word of sympathy or compassion. Just make them fucking disappear.

The homeless person you step over today could easily be YOU tomorrow. And no one will care about you either.

You can really breathe in San Jose.

They've got a lot of space. There'll be a place where I can stay.

I was born and raised in San Jose.

I'm going back to find some peace of mind in San Jose.
