Have we no sense of decency? At long last, have we left no sense of decency?
I guess not ... punishment is more important. And the more insane we become, the more brutal the punishments we mete out.
Some day, computers will run our "justice system"; and by that I mean machines with artificial intelligence and no compassion. However, we shall have lost any real sense of justice long before that.
