It's all Harry Truman's fault

Here are the latest spy revelations from Russ Tice, former intelligence analyst and NSA whistle blower:

The whole concept of a "national security state" is an abomination. The DHS, the NSA, the CIA, and the FBI are WAY out of control and CANNOT be reformed. And if they were abolished (an impossible outcome), private entities would spring up to take their place (that's why Mullen and Petraeus were hired after retirement to be private spooks).

Conclusion? It's all Harry Truman's fault. As he truthfully remarked, "the buck stops here".

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Security_Act_of_1947

An Act to promote the national security by providing for a Secretary of Defense; for a National Military Establishment; for a Department of the Army, a Department of the Navy, a Department of the Air Force; and for the coordination of the activities of the National Military Establishment with other departments and agencies of the Government concerned with the national security.

And Harry authorized the NSA, too:

And authorized use of the first atomic bombs.

Busy little guy, who in the interest of "national security" absolutely destroyed what America used to be.
