So NOW we want Russian cooperation?

Saw this in The New York Times:

The White House, in its first official statement released just after midnight Monday morning, expressed disappointment in Hong Kong’s decision to allow Mr. Snowden to leave and pressed Russia to turn him over, citing the cooperation between the two countries since the Boston Marathon bombings.

So ... we ignore terrorist warnings from the Russians for years, but now we're gonna cooperate after the BM bombings?

In other words, the federal government didn't lift a finger to prevent the killing and maiming of US citizens, but now it's rushing into action to cover its own ass.

What a crock of shit.
