I agree with the general concept discussed here.

But it really goes further than that. Everything in the established order is under attack. There is nothing left for us to hold on to.

And that's the whole point. Once Satan has reestablished chaos, he thinks he will be the one to reestablish order ... his order. And the rulers of this world are his willing accomplices.

Q: Why is this being done to us?

A: To replace man with Satan's counterfeit version of man.
