China Revives The Silk Road

Here is a peek into Eurasia's future:

Much of the so-called US "diplomacy" and belligerency is a response to China's plans.

Which would you rather have: a world dominated by China, or a world dominated by Western elites? It appears we're going to get one or the other.

I find it interesting that both Muhammad and Jesus and the religions they inspired traveled and were spread over ancient trade routes. They and their modern successor religions shall do the same, over this revived Silk Road and the superhighway of ideas known as the Internet.

And if that is correct, an important characteristic of these trade routes will be their freedom from interference and/or tyranny. Yes "unwanted" ideas will be traded, some of which will be dangerous. Christianity was one of them, and now Islam is considered to be another. But if we are not free to think and trade as we please, then we have no freedom at all.

Let's not let our trade routes be feeder chutes into a new global Gulag Archipelago.
