The Shape Of Texas

Here is a tongue-in-cheek "postcard from Texas" by someone who doesn't seem to like the place:

I've lived in Texas for 16 years now, and although I don't have any Texas-shaped items (other than what the state puts on my car) it's really a great place to live.

But if you Yankees prefer ice, snow, and unemployment, you can just stay where you are.

  1. I am an ex-pat Brit living in Canada after sometime in Arizona ('97-'02) and visited Texas twice during which time my wife and I were treated with the utmost civility and friendliness. Looking at the USA nowadays it is beginning to resemble a nation in crisis. It is sad to watch.
