Battle Of The Ten Armies

LTC Danny Davis has written an incisive essay about the battle for Mosul, and he recently was interviewed by Scott Horton:

Retired US Army colonel Daniel L. Davis discusses his article “Why the Battle for Mosul Could Become a Total Disaster;” and how US military intervention is paving the way for Al Qaeda/ISIS control of an actual state - not the pseudo state currently held in Iraq.

Mention of "the ten armies" appears to be incidental, but does it not remind you of the following scripture:

And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.
Revelation 17:12 KJV

One really cannot be a king unless one has an army. Do these ten armies represent ten kings? And might that mean "the beast" is the US/NATO entity which is behind the battle for Mosul?

It's only about 700 miles from Mosul to Megiddo:

Is all this a prelude to Armageddon? If the Whore of Babylon wins the election on November 8, you better believe it.
