In a way, this reminds me of the contrast between how the US is handling the "crimes" of Julian Assange vs. how they are handling the crimes of Hillary Clinton. Assange arguably performed a public service, while Clinton seems to have been engaged in bribe taking, influence peddling, self-aggrandizement, and numerous crimes against humanity. She will remain unpunished, while he will be arrested and possibly put to death.
In America fantasy ALWAYS triumphs over reality, a fact which makes all the hubbub over Trump seem ridiculous.
Does Trump intend to forcibly render Assange? It would not surprise me if the US broke into the embassy where he is hiding.
