Quote For The Day - 8/21/2017

"The western world now obeys the precepts of commerce. A bloody demanding religion, if you ask me. The do's and don'ts change every season and your "everyone" doesn't want to be left out, so they rush headlong to comply. That continuous change has a function, a single aim. Maximum consumption. They want to go on milking you. From the cradle to the grave. Face it: You're a brain washed, walking purse, a robot, the fuel multinationals run on."
Esther Verhoef

Cowards At UT-Austin "Relocate" Confederate Statues

Confederate statues at UT-Austin were "relocated" under cover of darkness. You can read about it here:

But not to worry - white supremacists still can come to worship them at the new location if they desire.

And the university still retains Admiral McRaven as its chancellor, proving that either the regents have no clue how much white supremacy influences their world or that they do and are 100% behind it.

Hypocrites and cowards, all of them.

Does Today's Eclipse Herald The End Times ???

Many fundamentalist Christians see this as a significant warning of the impending apocalypse, the second coming of Christ and the rapture.

The “Great American Total Solar Eclipse” as it is called is said to be a warning sign from God, as it allegedly fulfils a Bible prophecy.

Pastor Paul Begley, host of the Coming Apocalypse radio show, said the eclipse could possibly fulfil a prophecy recorded in the book of Joel.

This states: “The sun shall be turned to darkness before the Day of the Lord come.”

You can read the rest @

Perhaps, but Jesus also said this:

Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
Matthew 24:29-36 KJV

Most Christians would agree that the Great Tribulation has not yet taken place, so today's eclipse would not appear to be what is mentioned in these verses.

However, the people of Iraq and Syria HAVE endured a tribulation, and the beast which tormented them is named The United States of America.

If the Bible doesn't make sense to you, it may be because it's written from a perspective other than yours.

China Reviving Russian Industry

In a boost for Russia-China trade ties, a new freight train service began Sunday, linking Russia’s Perm with Golmud in Qaidam Basin, northwest China’s Qinghai Province.

The train, loaded with containers of chemical, left China through the Alataw Pass in Xinjiang, and will pass Kazakhstan before reaching Perm, a Russian industrial city of a million people.

The trip covers about 6,360 kilometers and takes 10 days. Officials said transporting goods by train is about a month faster than by ship.

The new freight route is also part of China’s New Silk Road plan.

Meanwhile, in the land of make-believe (the Disunited States of America) we're reviving the Civil War and continuing to shut down our remaining industries.

Not a good sign.

The deep state would rather DESTROY the US economy than let Trump revive it. Its destruction would let the powers that be "rebuild" it in their own image, and they really don't care who gets hurt in the process.

Why Is GTMO Still Open ???

While President Trump has made clear he intends to not only keep Guantanamo Bay open, but refill it with a new round of detainees, the administration has been struggling with the legal obstacles surrounding a new influx of captives.

The goal is to come up with an executive order that not only reverses President Obama’s 2009 pledge to eventually close the facility, but to provide some sort of basis for putting newly captured people into the facility, after years of trying to release most of those already there.

Why not just say this - "the Pentagon is blackmailing me, and I've got to do whatever they want"?

If that doesn't work, try this - "I finally figured out the Constitution was suspended on 9/11/2001, and as a result I can do whatever I want ... subject to the approval of the deep state and their antifa gangs".

Another Navy Collision At Sea ???

Another US Navy destroyer has collided with a merchant vessel:

As a former US Navy officer of the deck, I have great sympathy for the lost and the living. It is VERY easy to lose perspective when at sea. And even momentary lapses can lead to disaster.

I'd also like to ask - what did they die for? The US has no real enemies in that part of the world, and the majority of traffic there is foreign flag vessels carrying foreign owned goods. China can protect her own interests, and the US is there only to meddle and provoke.

So now we've created a SECOND provocation. Are you happy now? I'm not. Apparently 10 sailors just died for nothing.

Is Sunscreen Killing Ocean Life ???

Here is one observer's unscientific assessment of the death of Hawaii's ocean life:

Up to 14,000 tons of sunscreen enter the world’s reefs annually, according to a 2015 paper published in the journal Archives of Environmental Contamination and Toxicology. Most of it — including products by Aveeno, Banana Boat, Coppertone, Hawaiian Tropic and Neutrogena — contains a chemical called oxybenzone to deflect UV rays.

Even in minute doses, the researchers found, oxybenzone rapidly bleaches coral and slows new growth: A single drop in 4.3 million gallons of water — about six and a half Olympic-size swimming pools — is enough to be deadly.

WOW !!! That's a lot of sunscreen.

Face it - from many perspectives just about everything humanity does is detrimental to life on our planet.

By the way, I NEVER use sunscreen. I do use plastic bottles, but I recycle the empties.

What Do Witnesses Say About Charlottesville ???

Here is a collection of witness statements from the Battle of Charlottesville:

What they seem to say is that both sides do indeed share blame for the violence.

What they also seem to say is that the failure of police to intervene contributed greatly to the ultimate level of violence.

But once again, the police seem to get off scot-free while others (such as Trump) take all the heat.

Is France Recolonizing Libya ???

Here is a discussion about France's ambitions in Libya:

German economic news: France has proposed to set up hot spots on Libyan territory in order to better control the migration flows. How did the Italian government react to this?

Giovanni Fasanella: I think she feels the French initiative is a nuisance. Macron has acted entirely alone and wanted to put Europe and countries like Italy, which has been trying to stabilize the situation in the Mediterranean for a long time, before completed facts. It is obvious that France is pursuing the goals of a neo-colonial power and acting accordingly. France is about settling in the area. If it takes control of Libya, it can extend its sphere of influence to areas that it had previously colonized: the Maghreb and also sub-Saharan Africa. The interests of the rest of Europe and the Mediterranean countries played no part in the French advance.

German Economic News: Why are these areas so important for France?

Giovanni Fasanella: Libya is mainly about oil. However, from Libya, France can better pursue its strategic interests in the region. For example, uranium from the Niger and Chad is of extreme importance to France - keep in mind that France covers about 75% of its electricity requirements from nuclear power. In addition, his status as Europe's position depends on it - the only one after the departure of Great Britain. And, of course, it is also about national security, because this area is also a breeding ground for Islamic terrorism.

If you recall, the un-indicted war criminals Obama ad-Dajjal and Hillary Clinton destroyed Libya with the aid of NATO air power. Apparently this was done chiefly so the US could steal Libya's weapons and gold reserves, while the rest of the spoils went to France and the other co-conspirators.

And some of you think Obama was better than Trump? A better war criminal, YES.

Swedish Monetary Dicks

As you may know, the government of India recently took a large portion of its currency out of circulation. Now Sweden is doing something similar, albeit on a smaller scale:

About 1.6 billion kroner (converted $ 200 million) will soon be worthless in Sweden. The rally is a recall of the Swedish National Bank Riksbank, who wants to modernize their coins and make them smaller, lighter and more nimble, Bloomberg reports . The bank estimates that 30-50 per cent of the originally 2.6 billion crowns of outstanding coins are returned.

A spokeswoman for the Riksbank told Deutsche Wirtschaftsnachrichten that the coinholders have the option to pay the coins on their bank accounts, or to donate the sum to organizations that are working for children in need. The coins can also be handed over to the organizations so that they can hand over the money to the banks and then profit from their business accounts. The coins can not be exchanged at the central bank, according to the spokeswoman.

A press release from Riksbank states that citizens will be able to change 1, 2 and 5 crown coins by 31 August, so that the amounts are credited to their accounts. At present, 863 million coins are circulating to 1-crown coins, four million to 2-crown coins, and 151 million to 5-crown coins. After 31 August the coins will be worthless.

You can read the rest @ [translation required]

I don't see the rationale for this, as already-issued coins should not impose future expenses on the Swedish treasury.

As in India, this seems more an authoritarian exercise than a monetary imperative.

Is Trump's Presidency Over ???

The Trump presidency that we fought for, and won, is over," Steve Bannon said on Friday. "We still have a huge movement, and we will make something of this Trump presidency. But that presidency is over. It’ll be something else. And there’ll be all kinds of fights, and there’ll be good days and bad days, but that presidency is over.”

If Bannon is correct, many will celebrate. I'm not one of them. We have NO idea what will come after Trump, and I sincerely doubt it will be anything truly beneficial to We The People.

Yemen - Hell On Earth

Here is a photo essay about what is happening in Yemen:

The current social upheaval in the US is of course of great concern, but it pales in comparison to what our "ally" Saudi Arabia is doing in Yemen.

What the hell is wrong with us that we could tolerate, yet alone enable, such human suffering?

The Next Charlottesville

Here is a very thought provoking essay by Nebraska Senator Ben Sasse:

Over the last week, many Nebraskans have told me some version of this: ‎“There are lots of us here who are ‎scared about where the country is headed. I think more violence is inevitable." That much seems obvious. Less expected was where some of them went next. One of my constituents, a fairly energetic Trump supporter and a middle-aged man, told me:

**"To be clear, I think the alt-Right are a bunch of a**holes."‎
**"And we should admit that the President has done a bad job getting us through this."
**But "when the next rounds of violence come, I'll bet you most of it will come from the left."
**"And then some folks I know will respond in kind. It's gonna be a powder-keg."

My wife and I work hard to have chunks of family time that are "politics-free" in our home, but we haven't been very successful this week. A few observations from our family tabletalk:

1. We have neglected the American Idea for a very long time. We haven't done civics well in this country for decades, and we are reaping the consequences. We are a hollow people. We have "a whole lot of pluribus and very little unum," to quote Ken Burns.

2. America is first and foremost an Idea – that all people are endowed by their Creator with inalienable rights. This universal human dignity is because God made us; it's not because of our race, or our wealth, or even our religious beliefs, as important as disagreements about theology are.

3. White supremacy and racism are un-American, period.

4. The heartbreak in Charlottesville was the fault of the ‎white supremacists. Heather Heyer was murdered by an act of terrorism. The driver used his car to target public marchers.

5. Sadly, I think that the pessimistic Nebraskans I've been with this week are right that there will be more violence toward public assemblies in the future.

6. I expect that violence will come when white supremacists and the alt-right fight anarchist groups aligned with the extreme left.

7. What will happen next? I doubt that Donald Trump will be able to calm and comfort the nation in that moment. He (and lots of others) will probably tell an awful combination of partial truths and outright falsehoods. On top of the trust deficits that are already baked so deeply in, unity will be very hard to come by.

8. Besides ability and temperament, I also worry that national unity will be unlikely because there are some whispering in the President's ear that racial division could be good politics for them.

9. I worry that some on the left are also going to salivate over these divisions. Like the President's ear-whisperers, they see a divided nation as good for their political objectives.

10. Bizarrely, many on the center-left seem not to see that there is little that some on the President's team would love more than to transform this into a fight about historical monuments.

11. I wish more folks understood how many of the monuments now being debated are not really from the post-Civil War period as a way to remember war dead. Rather, contrary to popular understanding, many of these statues were explicitly erected as Segregation Monuments in the twentieth century, during Jim Crow, as a way of shouting – against the American Idea – that public spaces were to be whites-only spaces. Tragically, many of these monuments were erected exactly when lynchings of black Americans were being celebrated in those communities – and the timing overlap here was not accidental. (It's also worth noting that Gen. Robert E. Lee had opposed erecting Confederate Memorials because he worried, wisely, that they would become scabs of bitterness to be endlessly picked at.)

12. But I'm also against mobs tearing down the statues, or city governments removing them in the middle of the night. That doesn't advance the civics discussion and debates we need; it just exacerbates the unhelpful "on both sides" grievance culture. Rather, we need an orderly debate about such monuments.

13. Every single place I've been this week, I've gotten a question like this:

**"Washington and Jefferson owned slaves; do we have to tear down their statues too?"
**"Explorer X didn't treat native Americans the way he should have; do we abandon states west of the Appalachian Trail?"
**"Even Tom Osborne isn't a saint; must we tear down the statute outside Lincoln's Memorial Stadium?"

The people asking these questions (over and over and over) are not racist. Rather they're perplexed by the elite indifference to their fair questions – about the "unnaming" movement now unfolding at Yale, for example. Most of these folks voted for Trump, to be sure, but many quietly admit to being dissatisfied with his leadership. But they have ZERO uncertainty about a choice between a Trump who would defend statues of Washington and Jefferson, and a national media elite who they assume would not defend monuments to Washington and Jefferson. That's the divide many here are seeing and hearing. ‎

‎14. The white supremacists from Charlottesville now feel emboldened. They’re headed to another city sometime soon – with the express purpose of spreading their hateful rhetoric and inciting violence. This is the most attention they've received in years.

15. Tragically, there are some who want violence. Most Americans see the images from Charlottesville and our hearts break. We yearn for leaders, who raise high the exceptional American Idea of universal human dignity. But there are others who want to see these divisions exacerbated — not only the extremists on the ground but also some cable news executives who jump at division and know that what’s bad for America is good for ratings.

16. There is so much more nuance and texture inside local communities than broad-brush national "Crossfire"-like journalism usually distinguishes. One example from Nebraska right now: There seems to be a major gap on race issues between two types of generally Trump-supporting Republicans. Among more frequent church-goers, there is a lot more sadness and worry right now, whereas among more secular conservatives there seems to be a lot more "let's fight." I could be wrong, but that's been my repeated experience this week.

We have a glorious heritage in the American Idea, but we have neglected it at our kids’ peril.

This is the right time for each of us – parents and grandparents, neighbors and patriots – to pause and teach our kids again about universal human dignity and about love of neighbor. This is a time for discussion and education and humility, not intimidation and mobs and midnight wrecking balls.

Let’s teach our kids why our First Amendment Society fights with debate, not violence. Let’s teach them that those standing in threatening mobs don’t stand with America. Let’s teach them that white supremacy is a cancer to our union. Let’s teach them to reject identity politics. Let's teach them that all of us are created equal, with infinite dignity and limitless potential. Let’s teach them that what makes us Americans is not our skin, our wealth, or our religion but our shared creed.

That creed, ironically, was put to paper most profoundly by a very fallen slave-holder, who spoke for the long-term future of America in writing that “all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable Rights ...” We eventually went to war to preserve a creedal “government of the people, by the people, for the people.” And that creed eventually perfected our union from a jail cell in Birmingham, Alabama, with the proclamation that “‎the goal of America is freedom.”

It feels like violence is coming. I'm not sure if this moment is like the summer of '67 or not. But it might be. Before that violence strikes again, it’s up to us to reaffirm that exceptional American Creed again today, with our neighbors, and in our kids' hearts.

The Real White Elephant

Here is an essay about white supremacy in America:

No matter how you feel about this subject, one thing is certain: over 50% of the world's wealth is owned by white males. No amount of monument destruction or political upheaval is going to change that fact.

And we shall remain pawns in their game of thrones forever. Unless we recognize that THEY, and not our neighbors, are the real enemy of We The People.

Don't believe their "philanthropic" scams. Their chief (and perhaps only) goal is to stay rich at our expense.

Dilbert To The Rescue

I think Scott Adams is one of the few truly sane people left in the US. Here is one of his latest blog posts:

History is full of examples of Mass Hysterias. They happen fairly often. The cool thing about mass hysterias is that you don’t know when you are in one. But sometimes the people who are not experiencing the mass hysteria can recognize when others are experiencing one, if they know what to look for.

I’ll teach you what to look for.

A mass hysteria happens when the public gets a wrong idea about something that has strong emotional content and it triggers cognitive dissonance that is often supported by confirmation bias. In other words, people spontaneously hallucinate a whole new (and usually crazy-sounding) reality and believe they see plenty of evidence for it. The Salem Witch Trials are the best-known example of mass hysteria. The McMartin Pre-School case and the Tulip Bulb hysteria are others. The dotcom bubble probably qualifies. We might soon learn that the Russian Collusion story was mass hysteria in hindsight. The curious lack of solid evidence for Russian collusion is a red flag. But we’ll see how that plays out.

The most visible Mass Hysteria of the moment involves the idea that the United States intentionally elected a racist President. If that statement just triggered you, it might mean you are in the Mass Hysteria bubble. The cool part is that you can’t fact-check my claim you are hallucinating if you are actually hallucinating. But you can read my description of the signs of mass hysteria and see if you check off the boxes.

Too Cheap To Meter ???

Here is a discussion of a NASA plan to tame the Yellowstone super volcano by turning it into a geothermal power plant:

Intriguing idea, no?

But why is this a NASA project? Shouldn't this fall under DOE?

Or is Rick Perry too much of a moron to handle the project?

Is Tesla Just Another Solyndra ???

“Whilst the electric vehicles and lithium batteries manufactured by these two companies (Tesla and China’s Guoxuan High-Tech) do indeed help to reduce direct CO2 emissions from vehicles, electricity is needed to power them,” Morgan Stanley wrote. “And with their primary markets still largely weighted towards fossil-fuel power (72% in the U.S. and 75% in China) the CO2 emissions from this electricity generation are still material.”

In other words, “the carbon emissions generated by the electricity required for electric vehicles are greater than those saved by cutting out direct vehicle emissions.”

This appears to make Tesla just another government subsidized scam like Solyndra, only orders of magnitude larger.

And it will be a long time (if ever) before our electric cars are powered by anything other than coal. You can find some of the facts which prove this here:

The Attacker Was Neutralized

Here is a report from The Jerusalem Post:

A 21-year-old border policeman was lightly injured in the leg when an attacker approached the forces located at the junction, pulled out a knife from a bag and attacked one of the policemen. The attacker was neutralized.

You can read the rest @

Neutralized? Does that mean he was killed? For causing a light injury in someone's leg?

We are witnessing an ominous progression. Soldiers and police now are judge, jury, and executioner is nearly all situations involving the use of force. The concepts of "war" and "crime" have been replaced by "threat", and the way to deal with a threat is to "neutralize" it.

WOW !!!

Has The Taliban Moved To The US ???

Here is a list of Confederate monuments which have been removed or vandalized in the recent US antifa frenzy:

Does that remind you of anything?

Yep - the last memorable campaigns of monument destruction were carried out by the Taliban and ISIS.

You may not agree, but I really think there is a connection. All of these vandals are religious fanatics.

By the way, if it should be discovered that Leonardo da Vinci was an anti-Semite, should we burn the Mona Lisa?

Battle Of The Shopping Blimps ???

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. has opened a new front in its battle with Inc.

The world’s largest retailer has applied for a U.S. patent for a floating warehouse that could make deliveries via drones, which would bring products from the aircraft down to shoppers’ homes.

The blimp-style machine would fly at heights between 500 feet and 1,000 feet (as much as 305 meters), contain multiple launching bays, and be operated autonomously or by a remote human pilot. Amazon was granted a patent for a similar vessel in April 2016.

You can read the rest @

As I wrote before about the Amazon floating warehouse, the chief enemy of airships is the weather. And no control system, human or otherwise, can prevent these gas bags from eventually crashing due to bad weather.

I don't know about you, but I'm not in that much of a hurry to have my purchases delivered. So why are the retail giants going to such lengths to promote airborne delivery?

My guess is that we are headed into a future in which private ownership of vehicles will be drastically curtailed ... only the rich will own them, and they probably will be flying contraptions.

Welcome to the market-state.

China Rising

China’s “Belt and Road Initiative” (BRI) has met with increasing acceptance from both developing and developed countries as the total number of countries, regions, and international organizations signing up for it have reached 69.

Countries along the routes account for 43 per cent of the world’s population.

Beijing’s top economic planner, the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) said on Thursday that 69 countries, from Ukraine to South Korea, have signed cooperation agreements with China on the joint development of the Belt and Road Initiative.

Meanwhile, what is the US doing? Fighting over statues while trying to oust a democratically elected leader (Trump).

Silly ... just silly.

US Civil War Wasn't Just About Slavery

Although the Southern states seceded because of slavery, it was not the only issue. Here is a word cloud taken from their Declarations of Causes:

I think it's fair to say the two fundamental issues leading to the Civil War were property rights and the enforcement of constitutional guarantees. Unfortunately for all concerned, those property rights and guarantees involved human slaves as property.

Believe it or not, these two issues are at the heart of today's turmoil. The dwindling middle class is angry that the rich are gobbling up all their former property, and "the deplorables" are angry that the US Constitution is being ignored by the ruling class and by their own government.

The US Civil War left festering sores which have never healed. Merely removing statues and other symbols of the Confederacy will not help unless these two issues are resolved and those festering sores are healed.

By the way ... any demand for the payment of "reparations", which is almost certain to be the next step in the current conflict, will be like pouring gasoline on a fire.

What Does The ADL Have To Do With Confederate Statues ???

Apparently James Murdoch thinks the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) is going to help us fight "Nazis":

As far as I can tell, the ADL is mainly a pro-Israel, pro-Zionism group. They have NOTHING to do with the Confederacy, and frankly the Confederacy had NOTHING to do with Hitler or with National Socialism in Germany (a.k.a. the Nazis).

But from the perspective of the Nation of Islam, there is perhaps a hidden connection between the ADL and those Confederate statues. You can read about it in their book The Secret Relationship Between Blacks and Jews, Volume Two (available on

This whole episode appears to have been cooked up for the benefit of Israel and to the detriment of the United States.

And why? In my opinion it is in response to the reluctance of some in the US Congress to pass draconian anti-BDS bills (a.k.a. "give Israel a free pass on everything they do wrong" bills). Aren't you tired of being manipulated in this way? I am.

Song For The Day - August 18, 2017

We'll be fighting in the streets
With our children at our feet
And the morals that they worship will be gone
And the men who spurred us on
Sit in judgement of all wrong
They decide and the shotgun sings the song

I'll tip my hat to the new constitution
Take a bow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around
Pick up my guitar and play
Just like yesterday
Then I'll get on my knees and pray
We don't get fooled again

BS Story Of The Day - August 17, 2017

In the wake of last weekend’s violent protests in Charlottesville, Va., a coordinated wave of anti-Google demonstrations planned around the country for Saturday has been postponed because of threats the group allegedly received, according to the organizer.

Is this in any way believable? NO.

Here's what I see - TRUE threats to our liberty and privacy (such as Google) are not being targeted by ANYONE, while bogus threats (such as Confederate monuments) are being attacked to further the social upheaval favored by the powers that be.

As long as Google continues to be a tool of the powers that be (and maybe even one of the powers themselves), no one will be allowed to attack them. No one.

And that should tell you plenty.

The Source Of US Violence ???

Where is all this recent violence coming from?

Here is one source:

Alec Baldwin is another.

Ditto for Kathy Griffin.

Yet they are getting away scot-free, while the so-called "white supremacists" are taking all the heat. This makes no sense. And one of the reasons it doesn't is that it's total BS.

The US was created in violence and maintained by violence, both domestic and overseas. That's why EVERYONE in this current brouhaha - EXCEPT President Trump - is reacting to it by calling for more violence.

This will not end until the American people reject violence as a means of problem solving. And that's not likely to happen any time soon.

I wish I had invested $100 or more in bitcoin back when it first came out. But I didn't, and you probably didn't either.

Descending Into Madness

Here are some thoughts from Michael Krieger:

I don’t live in an echo chamber, partly because there aren’t enough people out there who think like me, but also because I constantly and intentionally attempt to challenge my worldview by reading stuff from all over the political map. I ingest as much as I can from a wide variety of intelligent sources, picking and choosing what makes sense to me, and then synthesizing it the best I can.

Though I’m certainly grounded in certain key principles, my perspective on specific issues remains malleable as I take in additional information and perspectives. I try to accept and acknowledge my own ignorance and view life as a journey of constant mental, emotionally and spiritual growth. If I’m not growing my capacity in all of those realms until the day I die, I’m doing it wrong. Life should be seen as a battle against one’s own ignorance, as opposed to an obsession with the ignorance of others. You can’t legislate morality, nor can you legislate wisdom. The only way the world will improve on a long-term sustainable basis is if more of us get wise. That’s a personal journey and it’s our individual duty to accept it.

While I’m only in control of my own behavior, this doesn’t mean that the behavior of others is irrelevant to my life. Unfortunately, what I see happening to the population of America right now seems very troublesome and foreboding. What I’m witnessing across the board is hordes of people increasingly separating themselves into weird, unthinking cults. Something appears to have snapped in our collective consciousness, and many individuals I used to respect (on both sides of the political spectrum) are becoming disturbingly polarized and hysterical. People are rapidly morphing into radicalized mental patients.

You can read the rest @

And our so-called "free press" and MSM are aiding that metamorphosis instead of combating it.

I think we are witnessing pretty much what happened in Germany in the 1930s. And the end result is likely to be quite similar.

Death Of The American Trucker ???

It’s been 40 years since Burt Reynolds starred in “Smokey and the Bandit” and made driving a rig on the open highway seem like a cool way to make a living. That same year, only “Star Wars” sold more tickets.

These days, “Star Wars” still fills theaters but trucking no longer captures the imagination of movie goers or, it turns out, the young and unemployed. Veteran drivers are leaving the profession, and young people entering the workforce are put off by long hours away from home and the profession’s low-brow image. The result is a U.S. trucking industry with high turnover and a dwindling number of new recruits.

“The question is where we’ll be in five or 10 years,” said Steve Viscelli, a sociologist at the University of Pennsylvania and former driver. “If e-commerce goes up a lot and the introduction of autonomous vehicles is slow and the industry does not shift to millennials, we could see actual shortages 10 years out.”

You can read the rest @

Just enough time to replace them with self-driving trucks.

American truckers were cheated by Jimmy Hoffa and other members of Teamsters management, had their pension funds stolen by the Mafia, and were betrayed by their government. And now they'll be replaced by robots.

So it should come as no surprise that no one wants the job anymore.

Who Is "Morally Bankrupt" ???

Some are whining that President Trump is "morally bankrupt":

You want to know who is REALLY morally bankrupt?

  • US citizens who did nothing when their government legalized slavery.
  • US citizens who did nothing when their government exterminated the Plains Indians.
  • US citizens who did nothing when their government murdered JFK, MLK, and RFK.
  • US citizens who did nothing when their government invaded Panama.
  • US citizens who did nothing when their government starved the children of Iraq.
  • US citizens who did nothing when their government started the fraudulent "war on terror".
  • US citizens who did nothing when their government invaded and destroyed Iraq.
  • US citizens who did nothing when their government destroyed Libya.
  • US citizens who did nothing when their government destroyed Syria.
  • US citizens who did nothing when their government failed to prosecute the numerous criminals of the Obama administration.

That's you and me, folks. President Trump is no more "morally bankrupt" than the rest of us. He's just not as good at hiding it as we are.

BS Statement For The Day - August 16, 2017

"I strongly disagree with President Trump's reaction to the events that took place in Charlottesville over the past several days. Racism, intolerance and violence are always wrong. The equal treatment of all people is one of our nation's bedrock principles."
Jamie Dimon

It's hard to imagine a more hypocritical statement, coming from a top CEO in an industry that redlined minorities in multiple US cities, cynically preyed on the poor and disadvantaged (often causing them to lose their houses and/or cars), and whose executives lived in splendor while We The People rotted in squalor.

Jamie, you are full of crap.

3-D Printing A Submarine ???

The first prototypes are produced following a model that the Navy SEALs already use: the SEAL Delivery Vehicle - or "SDV" for short. It has been in use for many years and helps the elite unit to overcome long distances under water. It is equipped with corresponding technology on board to spy on target areas as well as to infiltrate them as much as possible.

A tried and tested model is to be made more efficient. Thanks to 3D printing technology, this is possible. The production, or more precisely the pressure, is to take place at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) in Tennessee. This scientific laboratory belongs to the United States Department of Energy and has already been able to demonstrate some achievements in the field of 3D printing. One of the most prominent products is not only the first functional car, but also a printed Shelby Cobra.

The current SEAL Delivery Vehicles (SDV) cost between 600,000 and 800,000 US dollars depending on the model. Their production alone takes five months. However, 3D printing can significantly reduce costs and production times: now it is possible to produce such a submarine for 60,000 dollars - within a few days. This proof-of-concept has reduced the cost of an SDV by 90 percent. Once again, it is clear how cost-effective the 3D printing technology can be. However, the research continues. By 2019, Oak Ridge and the Navy want to use the first fleets of production.

As a former submariner, I can promise you flat out I would never submerge myself in a vehicle produced by 3-D printing. SEALs may be brave, but submariners are not reckless.

And I would not get into a 3-D printed Shelby Cobra, either.

But if you think either is a good idea, go for it. I'm certain you will enjoy the ride ... while it lasts.

Is US Constitution Now Invalid ???

The attack on The Founders of the United States of America continues:

I cannot see how the left cannot call for George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison and others to be removed from the public square, libraries, museums, universities and our currency.

Since the left is out to get all racists, feverishly on the lookout for Nazis and alt-right retards, ripping down statues of confederates, why not go to the source of all this racism, eh? America’s forefathers.

That is essentially what I said yesterday in this blog post:

The chief thing which once bound us together was the US Constitution.

But today The Founders and their Constitution are under continual, severe attack. Once the Constitution falls, our nation shall fall, too. And in case you haven't been paying attention, "our" government has been ignoring the US Constitution for quite some time.

Q: Once Washington, Jefferson, Madison, and the others are removed from their lofty perches, who then become our new heroes?

A: Feel free to make your own list. But choose wisely, since you'll have to live with it until the next upheaval.

By the way, the powers that be allowed Trump to get elected and then immediately started to undercut him for this very purpose - to drag our country down. Do you really think they are going to erect a different country which will HELP We The People? If you do, you're far more gullible than I thought.

While you're languishing in your dream world of justice and "free money", get ready for the most brutal privatization of all time. The NEW FOUNDERS are going to make the old ones look like saints in comparison.

Are We Still Fighting The Civil War ???

Here is an interesting question:

Confederate symbols have become a crucible of racial tension in the US. White nationalists claim they are important monuments - but are they just a way to rewrite an ugly history and revive the battles of the past?

You can read the rest @

First of all - why are the defenders of Confederate heritage being called "white nationalists"? That in itself is a revival of battles of the past.

Second, the problems which led to the Civil War have NEVER been resolved. Unwanted "solutions" were imposed by force of arms, leaving festering wounds which have not healed to this day.

Finally, Americans have NEVER forgiven anyone who has defeated us, even if the battle was fair and square:

  • We never forgave Sitting Bull and Crazy Horse,
  • We never forgave the Vietnamese, and
  • We're not going to forgive the Russians or the Syrians.

Why then is it so hard to believe that people of the South are not going to forgive the federal government for what it did during the Civil War?

Trump's attempt to restore the status quo is doomed to failure, because his foes control the press, the MSM, and the corporate and banking structure of the nation. They are going to force through change, but once again we will be left with imposed "solutions" unwanted by at least half of the population.

We're just jumping from the frying pan into the fire. This is NOT going to be pretty.

Shock And Awe - Theirs And Ours

Philippine police are killing drug suspects in "shock and awe" raids:

Most Americans probably are appalled at this.

But when the US invaded Iraq in 2003 under false pretexts (Saddam's non-existent WMDs) and started the festivities with brutal "shock and awe" bombing raids, many of US cheered. And we still do.

Murder is murder. Why do you recognize it in the actions of others, but not in your own?

Trump CANNOT Legally Attack North Korea

President Donald Trump is prohibited from pre-emptively attacking North Korea without express congressional authorization to retaliate against Chairman Kim Jong-un’s verbal thunderbolts. But the president may attack unilaterally in self-defense to answer sudden North Korean aggression with the use of military force proportionate to its provocation.

The War Powers Resolution of 1973 (WPR) does not disturb these twin precepts. Section 8 (d) (1) of the WPR declares:  "Nothing in this joint resolution - (1) is intended to alter the constitutional authority of the Congress or of the President ..."

Article I, section 8, clause 11 of the Constitution empowers Congress "to declare war."

Every participant in the Constitutional Convention and state ratification debates understood the Declare War Clause to prohibit the president unilaterally from crossing the Rubicon from peace to war. The president was, however, empowered to repel sudden attacks. At the convention, James Madison, father of the Constitution, prevailed in proposing that congressional power "to declare war" replace a power "to make war" ... "leaving to the Executive the power to repel sudden attacks [in self-defense]."

But NOTE WELL that others, such as Obama ad-Dajjal, have circumvented this prohibition by using US obligations under the NATO treaty as a pretext for making war on Libya and Syria, etc.

Frankly ALL PRESIDENTS should have their war making powers removed ... not just Trump.

Should Stone Mountain Be Defaced ???

Now there are calls to remove the Confederate faces from Stone Mountain in Georgia:

Maybe the horses should be left untouched. After all, I doubt they knew they were fighting to preserve slavery.

But seriously ... while we're at it, why not also deface Mount Rushmore?

Here is an excerpt from my book No More Patriots which explains why that monument may be the next to come down:

"All of these men were extremists and war mongers. Washington and Jefferson were lifelong slave owners. Abraham Lincoln did as little as possible to free the slaves, and Roosevelt did everything he could to enslave the people of the Philippines. How can such men possibly still be our heroes? And why hasn’t America paid reparations to the descendants of her millions of slaves?"

This is serious, folks. There is more going on here than just the Alt-Right vs. Antifa. Much more.

And the very existence of your nation is at stake. Don't doubt this for a second.
