The Future Of Physical Labor

This report asks whether exoskeletons will be the future of physical labor:

For a while, maybe yes.

But once wearable robotics are perfected, the only purpose the human serves is to be the "brain" of the contraption. And once AI/robotic brains are perfected, the human will be obsolete for that purpose.

Frankly, we are becoming obsolete for just about EVERY purpose. Why is no one making plans for THAT?

Or maybe there is a plan ... but does it involve anything other than our extermination?
