This wave of horses is here only because the Spaniards brought them when they slaughtered the natives.
Their numbers are exploding because humans have disrupted the environment and killed off their natural predators.
There is nothing for them to eat because humans have taken over their grazing lands.
There is a horse problem because there is a human problem. So why is the solution to kill horses?
